La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, or more simply "La Cruz", is a fishing village on the north shore of Banderas Bay, about a 10 minute drive from Bucerias. Shortly after Federal Hwy 200 heads north from Bucerias, follow the turnoff that heads west along the north shore to Punta Mita. Along the route are a number of seaside communities with La Cruz being the biggest among them.
