For lack of a better name, Midtown Vallarta is a large swath of geography formed by natural boundaries and the traffic routes within it.
To its northwest is the large estuary, a natural habitat for crocodiles and other animals and birds, separating it from the marina and airport areas. To its southeast is the large tunnel entrance the Libramiento transects through to go around downtown.
This is an area of expanding interest to home buyers liking its centrality to everything. With properties at much more reasonable costs than those found downtown, this area continues to attract buyers. For some buyers, the downtown area is becoming overly dense making this midtown choice preferable for getting around while downtown itself is not far away.
Midtown is served well by several main arteries that make getting around by car simple and easy. The neighborhoods are also served well with local buses and taxis. Many grocery stores, both a Sam’s Club and a Costco, malls and movie theatres along with many good restaurants, schools and hospitals, all nearby and easy to get to.
Areas that follow along the Libramiento and Francisco Villa roadways are all improved in terms of road development and local services with both condominiums and houses available to choose from.
Popular and safe communities within this area include Fluvial, Aramara, Versalles, Arailles, Las Gaviotas, Independencia, among others.
